A reminder to our Village Residents. Per Village ordinance any resident of the Village is allowed to drive their snowmobile on any village street in order to get to the public trails outside the Village limits.

The only approved trail for outsiders into the village is off of the Lake ice on at the Lyons street boat launch and up to the corner of Front st. and Lyons st.

We had provided a proposed alternate route thru the Village to the local snowmobile club but they could not utilize it due to DNR safety statutes and have therefore removed the old trail markings to avoid confusion and reuse them on their other trails. We also donated several old signs to the club as well to help them out in the future.
