Marquette Historical Museum has been named to the National Register of Historic Places

On February 5th the Marquette Historical Society Church Museuem was listed to the National Register of Historic Places. This is the second structure in the Village to obtain this honor. Our thanks to the Volunteers at the Historical Society in maintaining this historic structure and making our Village History available to everyone. This structure was named last year to the State of Wisconsin Register of Historic Places. A special thanks to Jean Winther for all of her investigative work on the history of this structure for the nomination process.  Stay tuned as plans are developed to celebrate this honor and distinction for the Village.
