Tax Payments are to be done at the County effective today

Tax payments to the County can be made in one of the following ways:

  1. Mail a check: payable to Green Lake County Treasurer, use address on tax bill.
  2. Enclose the tear-off stub with your check for each bill paid.
  3. If you wish to get a receipt back, include a 4×9 self-addressed and stamped envelope. If no envelope is provided, your cancelled check is your receipt.
  4. Hand deliver your payment, along with the tear-off stub from your tax bill to the Green Lake County Treasurer’s office at the Green Lake County Government Center located at 571 County Road A., City of Green Lake.

  1. The Treasurer’s office is currently open to the public with a few provisions:
  • When entering the building, you will notice a new glass wall in the entrance which was placed as a security upgrade.
  • You must now pass through this Security screening checkpoint to continue to the Treasurer’s office.
  • For your convenience, there is a lockbox for tax payments located in the entrance of the Government Center which can be reached prior to entering the Security area checkpoint.  The lockbox is checked multiple times per day and receipts will be mailed for each payment received in the lockbox.
  • There is also the option to pay your taxes online at co.green-lake.wi.us
